This two-day instructional adventure provides a thorough introduction to mountaineering followed by a summit of Mount Washington. On your first day, meet early at the North Ridge Mountain Guides base camp and set out to a local climbing area to learn all necessary technical skills, including crampon techniques, self arrest, and basic rope skills.
On your second day, head over to the Northeast's tallest peak, Mt. Washington, and put your new mountaineering skills to use. The climb can take up to 12 hours, and is an unforgettable experience, whether you're a beginner or an experienced mountaineer.
