During this week-long trip, you'll explore two of Peru’s best short hikes – Rainbow Mountain and Huchuy Qosqo – and visit the legendary ancient Inca citadel of Machu Picchu, all while in the supportive and empowering company of other adventurous women. Rainbow Mountain, known locally as Vinicunca, has quickly become well-recognized due to its incredible and multi-colored striped flanks. Huchuy Qosqo, on the other hand, is barely visited by tourists. Your hike here will be richly rewarding as you find you have one of the most spectacular, extensive, and best-preserved Inca ruins all to yourself. Along the way you'll sample local food and specialties, explore cosmopolitan Cusco, experience folk culture, and have the opportunity to chat and hang out with locals in their own homes.
