6 Hot Drinks for Cold Winter Nights

  • 1 tbsp. honey
  • 1/4 Lemon
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1 tea bag 

Direc­tions

  1. Coat Glass with Honey
  2. Add Liquor and Squeezed Lemon Juice
  3. Add Tea Bag and Steep with Boil­ing Water

Hot But­tered Cider
A party favorite for all ages, noth­ing says Fall like a stick of butter.

Ingre­di­ents

  • 8 cups apple cider or juice
  • 2 tbsp. brown sugar
  • 4 sticks cinnamon
  • 1 tspn. allspice 
  • 1 tspn. whole cloves
  • 1 lemon peel (cut into strips)
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • optional cin­na­mon sticks

Direc­tions

  1. Com­bine Cider and Brown Sugar into Large Vat
  2. Add Spices and Lemon Peel to “Spice Bag” (wrapped in cheese cloth), and Add to Vat
  3. Boil, Cover and Sim­mer for 15 Minutes
  4. Add 1/2 Tea­spoon to each Serv­ing (makes 10–12 servings)
