Acquisition Marketing Coordinator

 

Job Summary:

The Clymb is seeking a data-driven, detail-oriented Acquisition Marketing Coordinator.  This role is an entry-level role for someone seeking to pursue a career in digital marketing/ecommerce.  The workload that the coordinator will take on is a tough, entry-level grind, but you'll also get a solid exposure into how acquisition works on a larger scale.  This position will be responsible for the support of day-to-day success of Paid Search, SEO, refer-a-friend, affiliate marketing, display, and other acquisition marketing tactics. Reporting to the Ecommerce & Online Marketing team but partnering with the Analytics team, this role will provide The Clymb with the necessary decisions to double member volumes with quality shoppers. As part of this, you’ll need to use and provide recommendations to improve The Clymb’s business intelligence systems. The role also requires great communication skills to help drive the team’s strategies to our agencies and partners.  And you’ll have to thrive in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, endlessly changing environment. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support paid search strategy by building out campaigns including keyword selection, copy writing, and landing page building.
  • Develop specific paid search recommendations with the ability to prioritize, measure and visualize the impact of the recommendations.
  • Restructure inefficient campaigns with SEM best practices in mind.
  • Develop and optimize contextual and image display campaigns across the Google Display Network.
  • Refresh paid search dashboards daily to identify outliers, technical issues, or points of optimization across channels.
  • Create and optimize Facebook paid acquisition campaigns using custom audiences.
  • Support and monitor performance of display agencies while providing proactive feedback for optimization.
  • Assist in development of specific SEO recommendations and be able to prioritize, measure and visualize the impact of the recommendations.
  • Participate in the marketing strategic decision-making process by providing guidance, support and analytics.  Provide regular reports to inform business decisions.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the company's eCRM tools and data to make more qualified member acquisitions.
  • Support remarketing providers to convert browsers into shoppers.
  • Assist in designing and running tests to assess the incremental impact of paid media tactics.
  • Support a multi-million dollar affiliate campaign.

 

 

Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree or above in Business, a social science, mathematics, statistics, operations research, or related field of study or equivalent experience
  • Direct experience working on SEM campaigns.
  • Experience managing Facebook advertising campaigns using custom audiences.
  • Experience creating and optimizing Display campaigns across vendors.
  • Working knowledge of SEO tactics for delivering quality content to users and getting high ranks in Google organic listings.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Analytics or similar web analytics platforms.
  • Deep experience using Excel to report out and visualize performance trends.
  • Knowledge of the ad tech landscape with a focus on Remarketing and data-driven prospecting.
  • Rigorous attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills. A proven ability to present information to all levels of management
  • Proven teamwork skills with the ability to handle a diverse workload with tight time frame requirements and competing resources
  • Highly motivated with the ability to drive results, working on a team as well as independently.

The Clymb is seeking a Ruby/Rails Developer to contribute to the building of our next generation platform.  Mobile is the movement, and we’re working on taking our technology to the cutting edge. The Ruby on Rails developer we’re interested in should be keen on refining their craft and building a highly scalable e-commerce platform. We’re seeking a great communicator, and this means verbally, visually, written and otherwise—not just by tweet or status update.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Implement the technology roadmap and collaborate on feature development.
  • Design and develop our external website, including mobile and interactive technologies.
  • Improve upon our internal website for better information, tools and knowledge sharing.
  • Improve upon our application for better information, integration with third party tools, optimization, and knowledge sharing.
  • Provide technical guidance for emerging technologies and champion Open Source software solutions.
  • Collaborate internally and externally to ensure our technology development aligns with the business objectives and provides the best possible experience for our staff and our members.
  • Time will also be taken to spend outside doing what you like to do, writing blog posts & talks to describe the technology you're building and developing your skills by experimenting with new and emerging technology.

Operations Coordinator - Inbound

 

Job Summary:

The Operations Coordinator (Inbound) will focus providing critical support to the merchandising team by working closely with buyers and vendors to finalize PO details. They confirm orders are complete and ready to pass along to our internal partners.  They support warehouse staff with product and PO research and supplying documentation for receiving to be unblocked.  Operation Coordinators must be detail oriented, organized and ensure accuracy of all information they touch.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Performing efficiently and accurately to meet the Operations-Merchandising SLA
  • Transferring data from “buying sheet” form to Clymb PO and uploading/updating through internal tools and validating all operations
  • Gathering UPCs and assets (product and lifestyle images, and descriptions) from vendors
  • Working with warehouse staff to resolve receiving exceptions (includes tasks such as: creation of NOPOS, product/PO research through internal tools, Quiet and NetSuite …)
  • Continually look at our processes and look for improvements

Qualifications:

  • Ability to communicate and coordinate across multiple departments
  • Strong knowledge of Excel- must be proficient in VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables (skills assessment is part of the interview process)
  • Ability to communicate with vendors clearly and effectively, to efficiently gather necessary information

  • Plan and build – from concept through to implementation - our data warehousing systems to support The Clymb’s operational activities.
  • Collaborate with various internal and external parties to establish, define, and analyze reporting requirements.
  • Build reports or aggregate data sources for higher-level business analysis.
  • Develop KPIs, metrics and dashboard solutions to communicate the real-time or daily health of our business.

 

Qualifications:

  • Significant experience in database development.
  • Strong working knowledge building with Java, Python or Ruby.
