"Best Trip Ever"
This trip was for my husband and my 10 year anniversary, and we had the best time! The food is AMAZING!! The guides are very talented and just great people. I would recommend this company and the lower Rogue trips to anyone! I hope to do it again next year.
"Unplugged on the Rogue"
Rogue Wilderness Adventures offer many adventures along the Rogue River out of Merlin, Oregon. A friend and I signed up for a four day rafting trip that never disappointed. The trip was well organized: friendly fun safety conscious guides, healthy delicious food, beautiful scenery and wildlife, exciting rapids, opportunity to use the "duckies" (inflatable kayaks), two nights camping and one night at the beautiful Paradise Lodge. The opportunity to be out in nature and "detox" from our constantly plugged in society was wonderful.

Camping riverside is a real treat and you'll fall asleep looking at the stars. Wake up to the smell of coffee and the sound of the river outside your tent. Rogue Wilderness provides tents, sleeping pads and sleeping bags for no extra charge. However, if you'd prefer a standup tent and a cot you can upgrade for $200 for the larger and more comfortable option. On your third night, you'll arrive at historic Paradise Lodge. One of the most remote lodges in the lower 48 states, this is an amazing retreat deep in the Rogue River wilderness. With comfortable cabins with private shower/bathroom. Rogue Wilderness is happy to accommodate single travelers, however at Paradise Lodge there is a $75 extra fee for single rooms.
The food is fantastic. Rogue Wilderness is the only outfitter on the Rogue River with its own commercial kitchen for baking their own breads and making hearty, homemade meals. Typical menu is fajitas night one, steak and salad night two. Chicken and ribs night three.
